We lost a beautiful little friend today - actually 12/22. We so enjoyed our visits and sharing of our k9 CCI Companion dogs and their adventures together! We send up our hearts to you Lo.

XMAS SCARF

kk & I spent all afternoon cutting out material and creating cloth scarfs as gifts. She managed to get one done for her Inlaws and tonite after all was quiet I completed this one for Kelsy's Aide.. more to go!!!!

Teacher's Pet

Got a few little goodies on sale at JOANN's today to play with tonite! I have my Starbucks brewin & my xmas jammies & Slippers on and ready to cut & sew! Hubby Bowlin & daughter playin Wii.. I think it is gonna be a Grammy Weekend too .. so The oven will be heated up and lots of xmas goodies on the counter to bake! YUMMO Updates to come! (Oh material is for a baby grandchild receivng blnkt and lots of Scarfs from SCARALONG blog with Heather. Check out COOKIE MONDAYS Blog... FIFTY 50 1/2 a Century...

My daughter, hubby & family all surprized me .. truly I was surprized of all the plans.... and had a very special birthday celebration. I am sure it is hard to plan something the day before Thanksgiving .. so it was a wonderful surprize that I recieved...the place had great ombiance & yummy appetizers...and outdoors casual elegant atmosphere! LOVE YOU !!!!

A Gift -Secret Sister

OKay so I finished my lap blanket. But what a mess...I had to recut, resew, pull out, you name it .. Dont mix broadcloth with fleece.. doesnt work. The fleece stretched on me and omg the entire blanket is kattywampus .. is that even a word? Well it fits the part. I was able to salvage it somewhat and add a flower like MARY E style to cover up some errors.. my sewing machine kept messing up and not sewing ..bobbin trouble - you Name it. But all in all this will have to do. I loved how my letters came out .. CRICUT .. MY NEW FOUND FRIEND. I cut out cardstock of the letters and than I used them as a pattern on materal .. i could use some more practiice tho on the zigzag.. I will just have to tell my secret sister - that This was my FIRST! I still like it after all that... just UNEVEN.. but can still keep her warm!

My Imperial Valley buddy came out (Again) coz she was leaving the state for the Holiday to Kentucky. She didnt wnat to miss the chance to bring me a 50th bday little something she had made just for me *.. And my crazy coffee habit... I was so excited and we got to SEW and shop at JOANN'S for a few more projects. OH And she taught me how to make Cloth Books for my grandbabies...It was a fun little visit!
