OK BJ asked me to show her on here how far I have gotten on my quilt. Coz it has to be done by 11/26. So here ya go....EMMY'S QUILT.. I forget what we are calling it but it will be MY DECADE too .. my 50th .. so the black can represent ME ahah..BJ it keeps snagging the material still when I sew? HOW COME????

My dear friends came from the Desert to attend the San Diego Quiltng Show and we couldnt pass up lunch at Anthony's Fish Grotto on the Bay. Than it was back home to learn to SEW!

Upcoming Projects...

When My friend was here visitng we made a trip to JOANN'S Fabric Store. Here are my projects.. oh the RED WHITE & BLUE I Couldnt pass up coz it was only 1.00 As you can see from pics I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mary Englebreight stuff! I collect Santas for the Xmas Holiday, so couldnt pass up th 60% discount on the Mary E. Panels. One is to be a book for the kids but you know what - I might not do that and thinkng about using the squares and make a quilt out of it? Hmmmm a throw for the couch. We shall see...Off to make the Black Pink & White for my grandchild's Bday this coming Month on Thanksgiving.. More to share...

TO SEW or SCRAP?

This is my very 1st sewing project. BJ & Marge came down from Brawley and we went to a quilt show. Mom was supposed to lead us the way - however she came down with a cold.. so off we 3 went. I was so inlove with all the material that I HAD TO Learn. It reminded me so much of my scrapbookiing paper. SO I got a panel to make this apron. I was HOOKED after that. I had a sewing machine from my folks for 10 years sitting in a box never opened. Watch Out.. See Me create ! NOW between scrapbooking & Material? OH SO MANY CHOICES...

Hey so its that time of year for our trick o treaters. This is the pic of my little favorite spooks! I had a little safari guy, A Marge Simpson, A Black wild kitty & my daughter Minnie Mouse!

TRICK OR TREAT

Halloween Carnival time - SO I am creating.. My first fun thing was .. for those of you that are lookng for ECO Friendly - I took the $1.00 Walmart Groc cloth bags and took scraps of material with the halloween material panels and I created these TRICK OR TREAT Bags one was just mailed out to Colorado Sprngs to our grandson there and my 4 little ones here in town. It was so much fun and I must say I am so proud of myself.. for just learning to Sew...lots more fun to come. Than I helped my eldest grandchild to create a Costume of MARGE SIMPSON. CUTE CUTE CUTE... Happy Hauntiing!
